After reading animal farm I could make the connection between the novel and Communist russia after the revolution. It was an interesting deep reading who made me think about ideologies and what they really represent. Lies were involved and brains were washed to accept this. Boxe's ded marked something it was a point of no return and the confirmation of everything he never had a bad quality. Those good qualities made him die.

Boxer is seriously injured and still working to build a windmill for the farm. He wants to retire and said that he only woh is to see the windmill before he does. It was promise to te animals that horses will retire at the age of twelve. Boxer is now neat this age.

Food is running out and everyone starts starving exempt for te pigs and the dogs. Squealer provides data showing that the amount of food now is greater that that of when they were under the administration of the farmer. Napoleon asks for a school to be build for his kids. animals start chanting around the farm and listening to speeches.

Boxer dies and the pigs lie to animals about what happen to him.

In this chapter we can observe different levels of literacy among the animals. The pigs tried to teach the other animals but they didn't want to learn. This causes the pigs to be in a way the owners of the truth, since knowledge is power. The seven commandments that were stablished before. 

1. Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy.

1. Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend.

1. No animal shall wear clothes.

1. No animal shall sleep in a bed.

1. No animal shall drink alcohol.

1. No animal shall kill any other animal.

1. All animals are equal.

rapidly change to a new and only motto. “Four legs good, two legs bad.”. This will have more significance in later chapters.

Finishing chapter number two, we can see better the parallelism between russia and animal farm. The speech given in this chapter to the other animals bears many similarities to Marx’s Communist Manifesto and to Lenin’s writings. The animals represent the working class of Russia. Boxer and Clover, to give an example show how the working class was loyal, hard working and easily manipulable. The pigs are responsible of the revolution. providing propaganda and religious hope.

Animal farm

A political novel in times of political chaos seemed like the right choice. To add, Racial and political division in the United States of America. In addition North Korea constantly trying and threatening with bombs and misiles different countries of the world put my views of what to read for this project into perspective. 

Animal farm is a political novel by George Orwell. I read the book when I was a highschool student and it marked me ever since. The characters and the satire way in which they were presented were too obvious. In consecuence leaving me with a feeling of sadness. That feeling is even more alive right now because of the climate were experiencing. 

The setting of the story begins in a farm in England in the times of Russian revolution. A revolution starts because the animals are not holy with the way they are being treated. As it progresses the story starts getting darker.

Ceo - Wonderland

La adaptación de Alicia en el País de las Maravillas (1951) original de Disney sigue siendo  algo borroso en fondo de mi cerebro infantil. Independientemente a  la cantidad de veces que me acuerde de su trama, que persiste como un pastiche de colores brillantes, personajes siniestros, y escenas borrosas. La mayoría de los intentos de recordar todo lo que una vez vi terminan siendo sólo retazos de lo que parece un recuerdo lejano y desorientador.

Eric Berglund, el hombre detrás de CEO un proyecto de música electrónica sueca, parece haber tomado inspiración de esto, y se tiró de cabeza en el agujero del conejo con Wonderland. Un disco que se tambalea peligrosamente entre el sueño y la pesadilla y alegría y tristeza, mientras que sorprendentemente no se pierde en medio de la confusión.

El álbum abre con "WHOREHOUSE", cuyo neón synth  y sus alegres notas esconden algo mucho más oscuro. Berglund ofrece letras como "Baby I’m still lost inside a whorehouse / No one can protect me from the flame " esto es genial porque a pesar de lo denso de la letra,  sus palabras se hunden profundamente  dentro del alegre beat. "HARAKIRI"  va en una línea similar, con frases habladas mezcladas con un etéreo beat.  El producto final es una extraña dimensión en la que los susurros silenciosos japoneses se mezclan con risas sintetizadas casi escondidas, resultando en algo maravilloso.

"MIRAGE ", una dulce mezcla de sintetizadores  con un coro sencillo pero contagioso, es la canción más fácil del album. "When you say love / I see a mirage", se lamenta Berglund. Las canciones "IN A BUBLE ON A STREAM" y " jUjU" habitan un extraño reino de sonido relajante intercalados con gritos apagados y gruñidos mutados. Ambos son sumamente inquietantes, no debido a los ruidos ominosos (una pequeña referencia a Lovecaft de mi parte, tenía que hacerlo) en el fondo, sino más bien porque suena agradable a pesar de ser tan raros dentro de un álbum pop. "ULTRAKAOS" es una mezcla de  percusión, flautas, coros étnicos y sintetizadores que recuerda un poco a Matangi y termina siendo inesperadamente agradable.

Wonderland; ocho canciones presentan una y otra vez  una oportunidad para perderse. Cada giro ofrece una oportunidad de escapar. A diferencia de Alicia en el país de las maravillas, uno no necesita pasar por todo el hoyo del conejo para disfrutar de ella, ahí está la magia. Esta vez, el sueño puede ser revisado cuando quiera. Puedo volver a vivir la euforia y el dolor de cada pista, y quedar atrapado en la catarsis de una mezcla de neón desvaneciéndose lentamente una y otra vez.  ¿Qué más puedo decir?  Termina el álbum con la frase "Who knows dude?”, perfecto.
